OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Hebrew radio on Monday disclosed that 130 new housing units would be built in the Gilo settlement south of occupied Jerusalem. The organization and construction committee of the municipality of the occupied holy city is to discuss later on Monday the construction of tens of buildings, it added. Bahrain-based author on trial for blasphemy in Colombo have hit out after her case was adjourned again. Sarah Malanie Perera has been in custody for eight months after being arrested in Sri Lanka for the publication of a book, which described her conversion from Buddhism to Islam.

The President was received at the Bandranaike Airport by the Sri Lankan President and members of his cabinet. As the Pakistani and Sri Lankan flags fluttered in the background, the national anthems of the two countries were played.
